PUPPY APPLICATION

If you are interested in purchasing one of Candice's Mini Dachshund puppies, please fill out and submit the puppy application below and indicate which puppy you would like in the comments field. Once I confirm your request, we can arrange payment of the $500 non-refundable deposit to hold your puppy.

In an effort to gain some insight as to why you are choosing a dachshund, we request each prospective puppy owner to also answer the questions in the application. Dachshunds are wonderful loving dogs, but not every home is ready for one. This is just an effort to ensure our puppies receive the loving homes they deserve.

If you have children, please be prepared to teach them how to properly handle a small puppy so they do not inadvertently mishandle him or her. Chasing or squeezing the puppy should be misdirected to calmly playing with the puppy with a toy or sitting with the puppy gently petting it. Sometimes the accidental mishandling of the puppy can scare him and alter his temperament from friendly to unfriendly. All our puppies are handled often and with love so they know no fear.
